How to use Kafcun

Connect in one click, then keep your access going with an email code, a gift code, or a friend's referral.

Connecting to the network

The client opens to a single window. Everything you need — the server list and the connect button — is right there.

First launch

Download and run

  1. Download the build you want — KafcunVPN-release-1.0.40.exe or KafcunVPN-portable-1.0.40.exe — only from this official website or the official Telegram channel (@kafcun). Never download it from third-party sites.
  2. Choose a build: Release is self-contained (about 86 MB) and Portable is a single small file (about 16 MB). They are the same client, so pick whichever you prefer.
  3. After downloading, verify the file. Its SHA-256 hash must match the value shown for that build on the release notes page. On Windows, open a terminal in the folder and run certutil -hashfile KafcunVPN-release-1.0.40.exe SHA256 (use KafcunVPN-portable-1.0.40.exe if you downloaded the Portable build instead).
  4. Your browser may block the file — Kafcun isn't code-signed yet. In Chrome/Edge choose Keep; if Windows SmartScreen warns, click More info → Run anyway.
  5. Run it. Windows may ask for administrator permission — choose Yes.
  6. The main window opens. Your free trial starts automatically.

Kafcun isn't code-signed yet, so your browser and Windows SmartScreen will flag the download. That's expected — follow the steps above to allow it. Before running, make sure the SHA-256 hash matches, and for extra peace of mind upload the file you downloaded to VirusTotal and scan it.

No installer and no extra dependencies — for either build. Each one is a single file you can keep anywhere; the Portable build is the smaller of the two.

Connect

Connect to a server

  1. Servers are sorted automatically by latency and packet loss — the best is at the top.
  2. Press the green button next to a server. It turns amber while connecting.
  3. When connected it turns red (DISCONNECT). Your traffic now goes through that server.

On a weak network, Kafcun switches tunnels automatically (WireGuard → TCP → Hysteria2) to stay online.

License & account

Your access is managed in the License window. Open it with the LICENSE button at the bottom of the main window.

  1. In the main window, press LICENSE.
  2. The License window shows your expiry date, days remaining, and your Device ID.
  3. The Device ID is for support tickets — press the copy button to copy it exactly.

Free trial

Your free trial

Every new device starts with a 10-day free trial, plus a 3-day grace period after it ends. When it's about to expire, the client shows a reminder.

To keep using Kafcun for free, get a new code by email (next step) before your trial ends.

Email code

Get a code by email

  1. In the License window, enter your email in the first field and press SEND.
  2. Check your inbox (and the spam folder) for the code.
  3. It adds 10 days to your access. You can request a new code again when you're close to expiring.

One device can use up to two email addresses. Codes can be redeemed every 7 days.

Redeem

Redeem a code

  1. Enter the code you received (email code or gift code) in the second field.
  2. Press REDEEM. The client recognizes the code type automatically.
  3. A gift code adds 15 days and is valid for 90 days after it's issued.

Referral

Use a friend's referral code

  1. If a friend gave you a referral code, enter it in the Referred by a friend field and press APPLY.
  2. You get extra days, and so does your friend. This works once per device.

Your own referral code

  1. The Your referral code panel shows your own code.
  2. Press COPY and share it with friends.
  3. Each friend who activates with your code gives you 20 extra days (up to 365 days total).
